I have been visiting this gallery regularly since 2003 because it shows a wide range collection of art from artists across the world. The building itself is beautiful and grand. A glass passage and staircase connect the the original building, joining old and new in all sense.
My favourite collection of photographs were seen at this gallery in July 2004 called American Odyssey. Mary Ellen Mark photographs provide a fascinating and composite portrait of a disenchanted, wilting America. The dark side of America concept is used to shock, provoke and most of all to gain awareness of society problems.
